The Wonder of Live Feed TV Interactive Type Stuff!
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I happened to stumble across a live questions and answers feed over on mashable last night - Cali and Neal Lewis from geekbrief.tv were at the WordCamp Dallas 2008.
Geek Brief TV is Shiny, Happy Tech News. It’s a 3-5 minute video podcast, released 4-5 times a week that covers news about technology, consumer electronics, and Web 2.0 projects.
I started listening in on the mashable live feed as I had just subscribed to their channel over on itunes. These guys are seriously new media, doing live feeds to iphones and if you check it out you’ll see their whole setup is about as ‘professional’ as you can get !
Anyway I had to ask a few questions and our guy from mashable asked them all my questions..Thanks! whoever you were..
Amazing to see them respond to my questions on stage live!
Funny thing is I was only at the computer to grab an email in the middle of a TV break!
Google Text Ads with Video
Digital Inspiration picked up on Google showing video ads in their sponsored results. The video is hidden until the user clicks a link underneath the text ad…
This was only a matter of time as we highlighted in our Google Universal Search Report in the FMB members area the plain old text ads are going to have a hell of a time competing with organic search that are showing up other Google verticle results.
Clip those favorite bits with Clipmarks
Create Clipcasts..snip out interesting blog posts, videos, pics or paragraphs of text from websites and save them to your clipmarks. You can reference this for ‘Linkbait’ blog posts, research, whatever you like. They can also be published immediately to your blog or your clipcast widget!
Very cool tool..!
Stumpedia People Power
Just seen posted at Mixed Media Arts, a hum
an organized search engine has been unleashed..At Stumpedia you submit sites for a particular search term and other Stumpedia site users have the ability to give a ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ on how relevant that search is.
Many keywords aren’t currently bringing up results, so why not head over there and add some relevant links? Remember your links have to be relevant otherwise they’ll more likely be voted a thumbs down.
Quote from Press Release:
