More Content Submissions

Getting content out on the web can be pretty time consuming with creating content, but in terms of backlinks it’s essential

Create a series of Squidoo lenses with an article on your niche topic along with at least three modules to make sure you don’t break their rules!

Cruise other lenses on your topic and leave helpful comments linking back to your lens.

Join hubpages and again create a series of hubs all with relevant content and modules. Try to vary the content from the Squidoo lenses – Google will know if you’re just duplicating content.

Check out several other hubpages in your niche and helpfully answer or comment, linking back to your hubpage(s) using keyword as anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Blogger.com on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at LiveJournal on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Yahoo360 on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Windows Live Spaces on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at wordpress.com on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Post a PDF version of your article and content to FreeIQ

Create an account at Zimbio and add an article with a link back using your chosen keyword as anchor text.

Create an account at Helium and add an article with a link back using your chosen keyword as anchor text.

Find out the top forums in your niche and sign up. Create a signature linking back to your main URL with the anchor text as a keyword.

Posting intelligent or useful posts, helpfully answer or contribute to other posts.

Widgets are a fantastic way to distribute your RSS feed content.

StumbleUpon Traffic

StumbleUpon Traffic

StumbleUpon is an excellent resource for Traffic! But how can you achieve this?
Here’s a quick blast Post on the subject. We’ve also put out a report in the membership area. You can log in here: New Media Membership

Why use StumbleUpon?

There are numerous reasons why you should be marketing with StumbleUpon. The biggest reason that any marketer should be using StumbleUpon is the exponential number of users in its birth. In 2006, StumbleUpon had 540,000 users. This year, so far, they have already almost four million users globally.

Visitors vote one websites they like or do not like, then the system offers more websites that are similar to the ones you like and different from the ones that you do not like. This means it is a more customizable search related tool that users will actually enjoy.

Once you have installed the toolbar you can ’stumble’ through many websites of your chosen category and click the ‘I Like it’ or the thumbs down (No more of this). The votes count and create more demand for your webpages the more ‘thumbs up’ you get.

How do I get even more visitors from SU?

Generally stumbling, rating, adding more friends as well as new pages that other people like will increase your Karma and make your vote more effective, so it makes sense to vote for your own pages.

Add more tags – if your page is in the category of design then add tags for anything related such as graphic design, web design, artwork, illustration etc. SU will then send people that are interested in illustration who may not have listed design as one of their interests.

Send to your friends – They’re more likely to vote positively for your site and this means more visitors for you! Also take note that 10 votes in 10 minutes are more valuable than the same votes in 10 hours.

Positively rate any sites that have links to your pages, as the visitors will trickle through on the strength of that extra traffic.

Stumble only the best pages on your domain as SU takes into account the average quality of pages Stumbled.

Buy StumbleUpon Traffic

An alternative is to consider sponsoring your site on StumbleUpon. This means you pay every time your page is shown to stumblers in your selected category. It’s currently incredibly cheap at $0.05 per visitor (with a maximum of 2,000 visitors per day) although don’t be surprised if this rapidly rises.

This is a great way to get started and you can also earn free traffic this way if you can encourage Stumblers to vote for you, which pushes more visitors to your page or blog.

Our latest report in the free membership area is a quickblast report on stumbleupon traffic and delves into more detail.
