Founded in 2005, it targets young single travellers and now gets 6.5 million visitors a month having grown from pulling sign ups in through Google Adwords.</p>
<p>WAYNE offers free international SMS messages, which proved to be the hook that fueled its growth as well as the use of viral marketing through its automatic email contact form.</p>
<p>A couple of lessons here:</p>
<p>1. Wayn may be confusing to visitors as to why they would need to use it – answer give them something they need (Free SMS) and then they’ll find other uses for the site.</p>
